Sirius Orion Black & Wendii Smith

Carter is a very independent individual. Even as a young girl, she always wanted to do things on her own or figure them out her own way. She likes shortcuts, when she can find them, but doesn't appreciate being told what to do or corrected when she's doing something wrong. She sees herself as determined and unshakable, a rock to those who don't have such strong personalities. She fights for what she wants.

Like her father, Carter loves to get into mischief. She loves to pull pranks or sneak out after hours, whether she's at home or at school. Even more than that, she loves convincing others to join her. She is pretty good at not being caught and uses that fact to persuade more hesitant friends to join her. Those who know her well sometimes give in to what she suggests because they know she'll get her way sooner or later. 

At the same time, Carter notices those around her. She sees the shy kids that no one talks to, the ones focused on their schoolwork because they're nervous about how to make friends. Carter reaches out to those people as often as she can. She wants to make everyone feel important and included. She notices bullies and stands up to them as often as she can. She hates seeing people being mistreated and is very loyal to anyone she considers a friend. 

Carter is easy to get along with, she thinks. She is not quick to judge negatively and often searches for the good in people, even if those she loves and trust dislike this person. However, once you have betrayed her or her trust (or she thinks you've betrayed her), it is very hard to get back on her good side. She doesn't have patience for people who pretend to be one person when they're really another. 

• Carter was born to Sirius and Wendii. Her parents were thrilled, and she was surrounded by friends and family from a very young age.
• Carter showed her first signs of magic at age 3. She was reaching for a plate of cookies placed out of her reach on the counter when suddenly (one by one) the cookies started floating over to her. Her parents stared in amazement. Sirius laughed and Wendii rushed to grab the cookies after her daughter caught two of them and shoved them into her mouth. 
• Was sorted into Gryffindor, though Carter did seriously consider asking the hat to put her in Slytherin, just to annoy her father.
• Joined the Quidditch team during her third year, as a chaser, loved every minute of it. 
• Her fifth year, the Triwizard Tournament was held. She, like everyone else, cheered on Cedric Diggory, enjoying everything about the competition and wishing she could have participated in it. 
• Does well in all her classes, but academics aren't her focus. She prefers to have fun in school and mess around and she takes even more pleasure in convincing others to join her in any kind of rule-breaking she comes up with. Her mother constantly discourages this while her father silently shows his approval of her actions
• Currently in her seventh year, hoping to become a professional Quidditch player
